The Bridgeport Islanders have signed center Cameron Berg to an amateur tryout agreement.
Berg, 23, was selected by the New York Islanders in the fourth round (No. 125) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
He spent the past two seasons at the University of North Dakota, recording 59 points (32 goals, 27 assists) in 66 games while serving as an alternate captain his senior year.

He previously spent two seasons at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he had 47 points (18 goals, 29 assists) in 74 games.
Berg is the latest addition to Bridgeport, joining prospects Gleb Veremyev, Joey Larson, Max Dorrington, and Jesse Pulkkinen.
The Islanders have until August 15, 2025, to sign Berg to an entry-level contract to secure his signing rights.
