Is Jaylen Brown right that the Boston Celtics are actually better this season?
Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown thinks his team might be better this season, and he might be right about it! For fans of the team who see the Celtics clearly not as engaged as they were last season against a lot of the lesser opponents they have faced in the NBA's 2024-25 regular season, that may seem like a bit of a stretch to swallow.
But if you take into account the legendary, so-called 'championship hangover' and the fact that the rest of the league has improved around Boston, and the Georgia native might actually have a leg to stand on with this take. What it means to be better in a league that has also improved remains an open question that can only be settled for certain in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
The host of the CLNS Media "You Got Boston" podcast, Noa Dalzell, took some time on a recent episode of her show to talk it over. Check it out below!
