Iowa vs. Murray State: How to watch NCAA first round game, time, TV, streaming
The No. 6 Iowa Hawkeyes begin their post-Caitlin Clark NCAA Tournament era on Saturday with their first-round game against No. 11 Murray State.
Iowa, which appeared in the national championship game each of the past two seasons, retooled after Clark's departure to the WNBA and coach Lisa Bluder retired after 24 years with the Hawkeyes. New head coach Jan Jensen won 22 games in her first year.
Expect a high-scoring game from both teams. The Racers are the nation's highest-scoring team at 87.9 points per game and have won 10 straight games. Murray State is also top 10 nationally in three-pointers made per game and free-throw percentage.
Leading the way for the Hawkeyes, who won 10 of their 13 last games, is transfer Lucy Olsen, a senior and the team's leading scorer at 18 points a game. The only other double-digit scorer for Iowa is junior forward Hannah Stuelke, who averages 12.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest.
Murray State is paced by four double-digit scorers, including senior forward Katelyn Young, an All-Missouri Valley Conference first-team selection for the third consecutive year, at 22.2 points a game.
