Injured Real Madrid star aiming to return in 2 months; recovery going better than expected
Last week, Dani Carvajal posted an update on his Instagram with a caption that got Real Madrid fans excited.
His post cryptically hinted towards the player planning for his return to the field already, something not many supporters saw coming this soon.
After all, the images of his injury and the echoes of his screams against Villarreal still haunt Real Madrid fans.
Recovery going well
Now, Rodra brings out an update on Carvajal’s recovery that confirms the hunch Carvajal’s story brought out.
As related by the journalist, the veteran defender is recovering much better than initially expected and is going all out to ensure he returns before the end of the season.
As of today, no one has set any sort of deadlines over his return for ball training or returning to the group, but everyone is aware that his recovery is perfectly on track.
In fact, Carvajal’s enthusiasm is such that the club staff and doctors themselves are having to keep him under control, as the player is desperate to get back out on the field.
It has been the right-back’s dream to return at least in time for the FIFA Club World Cup. The report further that the goal is no longer as far-fetched as it once appeared and that the player is confident he can make it back in 2 months.
Despite Carvajal’s good recovery, however, club doctors refuse to give any sort of date or deadline for his return as they do not wish to instil any false sense of security over his situation until he is at the doorstep of a return. His situation, thus, is being managed cautiously.
The club is beyond pleased with his dedication and urge to return. His work rate with recuperation and training has been off the charts and his teammates Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez have been personally helping him through this ordeal.
