Washington State versus the University of Washington will be the first showdown of the day.

Big event for rugby

Jack Kraft, Idaho's rugby team president, said this event will be one of the biggest in the program's 50-year history.

Nearly 200 players and coaches will be at the Thunderdome 7's and Kraft said that he wants to bring out the crowd to give them the love that they deserve.

"Coming from my perspective, I think that a lot of the guys on the team deserve to have a fanbase and have a crowd," Kraft said. "We're pretty engaged in the community, we do community service pretty often, we're engaged on campus. We try to help out when possible. The community helps us through funding and we help the community."
