Around the rink: The Ghost Pirates outshot the Icemen 20-1 in the second period, including goals by Andre Anania, Zach Krajnik, Tellier and Paliani. … Justen Close made 35 saves for the Icemen (42-21-7-1), who ended up outshot 39-14. … Chris Grando and Garrett Van Wyhe also scored goals for Jacksonville. … Van Wyhe also scored in Friday's 3-1 win over Savannah, which also included goals by Christopher Brown and Olivier Nadeau. … Icemen forward Justin McRae received a game misconduct and a cross-checking major in the final moments. … The Icemen will play against the Florida Everblades in next week's opening round of the Kelly Cup playoffs.
