The 89th edition of the prestigious Masters is underway, and all eyes are on Scottie Scheffler – the current World No. 1 and defending Masters champ – and the seasoned Rory McIlroy, both showcasing their skills at the Augusta National Golf Club.
Although Scheffler has not won on the PGA Tour this year, he aims to join golf greats such as Jack Nicklaus, as one of the few golfers to win the Masters three times in four years. Meanwhile, McIlroy is having a good start to the 2025 season and is attempting for the 11th time to earn a green jacket and complete the career Grand Slam.
The competition is wide open at this year's Masters as players strive to make the cut Friday and claim the coveted green jacket.
