Golden State Warriors provide positive update on Stephen Curry's injury status
Stephen Curry suffered a scary fall during the Golden State Warriors 117-114 win over the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, March 20. The veteran guard went straight to the locker room and didn't return for the remainder of the game. As such, Warriors fans have likely been eagerly awaiting an update on the superstar guard's injury status.
In a statement released by the Warriors PR account on X, formerly known as Twitter, it was revealed that Curry has suffered a pelvic contusion. The good news is that Curry suffered no structural damage to his pelvis or surrounding areas. However, he will be sidelined for the Warriors upcoming game against the Atlanta Hawks, which will take place on Saturday, March 22.
Golden State will re-evaluate Curry on Monday, March 24, before making a decision regarding his availability moving forward.

Curry, 37, has continued to defy the aging process this season. In 60 games, he's averaging 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6 assists per night. He's shooting 44.7% from the field and 39.4% from three-point range. Steve Kerr and the Warriors will undoubtedly be waiting for him to be given the all-clear and return to the rotation. For now, though, Golden State fans can breathe a sigh of relief that Curry should be back sooner rather than later.
