The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a 2-game road trip, their final trip of the year, on Monday when they take on the Miami Heat. The Sixers will look to avoid being swept by the Heat if they can get a win on the road.
As far as the injury report is concerned, not much has changed. Of course, Joel Embiid (left knee injury management), Paul George (left groin injury recovery), Eric Gordon (right wrist surgery), and Jared McCain (left knee meniscus surgery) are out for this contest.
Tyrese Maxey (right finger sprain) will remain sidelined. Coach Nick Nurse has said in the past that there is hope for Maxey to return in the 2024-25 season, but when considering how late it is in the season and with nothing to play for, one has to believe there is little chance Maxey does return.
Andre Drummond (left toe sprain) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (right knee sprain) are out for this contest as well. Drummond and Oubre have not played since March 12.
Guerschon Yabusele (personal reasons) is also out for this matchup.
Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management) has been upgraded to questionable while Justin Edwards (rib contusion) is also questionable.
