Four-star QB sets official visit with Georgia fotball
Four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth plays highs school football for Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama. Duckworth has been a very sought out prospect after his decommitment from South Carolina last year in June.
Now, Duckworth has now locked in official visits to four of his top schools. He told On3 on Tuesday evening that trips to Georgia (May 30), South Carolina (June 6), Florida State (June 13) and Ole Miss (June 20) have been set.
Duckworth finished his junior season with 3,109 passing yards, 34 touchdowns and nine interceptions through the air. He also ran for 631 yards and 12 touchdowns in 14 games. He’s now accumulated over 6,400 total yards and 80 touchdowns across 30 games in three seasons for Jackson.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback is the No. 6 quarterback in the country and the No. 53 recruit. Duckworth is ranked as the No. 5 recruit in Alabama, per 247Sports.
Georgia football's pursuit for a quarterback of the future is still on and now they are looking at all options. Five-star Jared Curtis gets the most love as the No. 1 quarterback in the country, but there's no guarantee that UGA lands Curtis. There are many other great options as Duckworth has amazing accuracy downfield and has the ability to extended plays.
