Former Nebraska volleyball head coach to provide analysis for Big Ten Network

Former Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook will join the Big Ten Network as an analyst for volleyball coverage. This announcement was made on Friday afternoon. Cook retired from his position as Nebraska volleyball coach at the end of January. He had a 722-103 record, which ranks as the best win percentage for any Division I program over the last 25 years. Cook was replaced by Dani Busboom Kelly, who will now look to lead the Huskers into a new era on the court.

In the meantime, this will be a chance for Cook to showcase his knowledge of the sport as one of the best women's volleyball coaches ever. This represents what has been a busy offseason for the coach. The Board of Regents will vote on April 11 to decide if they want to rename the court in his honor. It will certainly be interesting to get his perspective on television. If anything, his knowledge will be able to strengthen the broadcast.

The Huskers have announced that their spring volleyball match against Kansas will now start at a new time. The Huskers will face the Jayhawks on Saturday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network. The match is part of the Husker Games, a day during which fans can preview Nebraska's volleyball and soccer teams for the 2025 season.
