Former World Cup winning Germany coach Joachim Löw has reiterated that he doesn't see himself in retirement yet and that a national team job could still tempt him.

Löw, 65, has been out of coaching since stepping down in the summer of 2021 after Germany's last-16 exit at the Euros.

He was in charge of Germany for 15 years, winning the World Cup in 2014 and the Confederations Cup in 2017. He also reached the Euro 2008 final, plus three semi-finals at World Cups and Euros.

"I've said that in principle I don't want to retire now. Especially if there is another interesting offer and good a prospect," Löw told Sky at Wednesday night's German Cup match between Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.

Löw said if he accepts another coaching job it would be at a national team "because it would also be the best for me, concerning my experience."

Löw has also coached clubs including VfB Stuttgart and Fenerbahce before the Germany job but he said that these days are over for him.
