Final Four predictions: Expert picks for every men's March Madness game

For the first time since 2008 and just the second time ever, the Final Four of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament is made up entirely of No. 1 seeds.

Despite the historical nature of it, this year’s Final Four coming together the way it did isn’t particularly surprising.

Over the past couple of months, there has been a sizable gap in the advanced metrics between Duke, Auburn, Houston, Florida and the rest of the sport. These four teams aren’t just good when measured up against their competition this year, but also when put against the best teams from the past 30 years. Each team making the trip to San Antonio this week is among the top-10 teams in net efficiency ever on KenPom, which goes all the way back to the 1997 season.

Now, though, these squads have nobody left to play but each other. So with the tournament field cleared of its Davids, how will the Goliaths fare against one another? How will Auburn and Florida’s all-SEC matchup pan out? And how might Cooper Flagg and Duke do against Houston?
