Defender Yann Bisseck did not have his most impressive performance in yesterday’s Coppa Italia clash between AC Milan and Inter Milan.
As TuttoMercatoWeb highlight, the player ratings for the match criticized the German for his performance.
Yann Bisseck got the nod in defense ahead of Benjamin Pavard for Inter Milan yesterday.
The 24-year-old started on the right of the back three against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semfiinal first leg.
However, Bisseck came off for Pavard just before the hour mark.
Yann Bisseck Criticized For Performance In AC Milan 1-1 Inter Milan
Yann Bisseck had his share of culpability on Milan’s opener, though.
The German admitted himself that he could have done better. He lost the run of Rossoneri striker Tammy Abraham inside the penalty area, allowing the Englishman to score.
Beyond that, it was not a terribly auspicious performance from Bisseck.
The 24-year-old had the task of marking Rafael Leao.
That is never an easy assignment. And Bisseck did match up decently with the Portuguese on a physical level.
However, it was a cheap shirt-pull after Leao had gotten the wrong side of him that saw Bisseck hooked by Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi.
Meanwhile, Bisseck had little impact in attack.
