The Tush Push has been debated by the NFL for the last two seasons and nothing about it has really changed. The debate is going in full swing for a third straight year now, thanks to the Green Bay Packers, and things may be changing soon.
The league's owners tabled the Tush Push debate, but it sounds like the debate will eventually lead to rule changes that might potentially change what the play looks like moving forward. The play that the Philadelphia Eagles have dominated the NFL with could be fundamentally altered just because not many other teams can do it that well and no team can stop it. Since teams can't stop the play, they're trying to legislate it out of the game.
That's wack. It's weak. To be frank, it's loser behavior. The Eagles' Lane Johnson knows that.
He had the perfect six-word response to the debate around the play the Eagles have found so much success with over the last few years.
Hate us cause they ain't us! 🗣
