Could Neuer return to the German national team?
After last summer's European Championship, Manuel Neuer announced his international retirement. But he may not have played his last game for Germany.
According to Bild, there is an agreement between the German Football Association and Neuer that the 38-year-old could return under certain circumstances.
Marc-André ter Stegen, who took over as number one after Neuer's retirement, is out with a long-term injury, and it's unclear when he'll return - and if he'll be back to his best.
If the Barcelona goalkeeper can't rediscover his best form, it's not out of the question that Neuer could make his comeback for the World Cup in 2026, according to the report.
In the absence of ter Stegen, Hoffenheim's Oliver Baumann will be in goal for Germany's upcoming UEFA Nations League quarter-final against Italy, with Alexander Nübel and Stefan Ortega Moreno serving as back-ups.
