Antonio Conte is being courted by at least a couple of teams, especially Milan and Juventus, even though he has been at Napoli for less than one full season. Director Giovanni Manna addressed the subject to DAZN (via Calciomercato).

“I’d say with a lot of serenity that the coach has two more years on his contract. We have started a journey and are focusing on it. Every other thought would be superfluous now. He decided to embrace this project last summer. We hope to continue together without any problem.”

Manna also addressed Frank Anguissa, as the reports about his exit have intensified.

“We’re concentrated on the present. Thanks to an option, he’s tied to us for two more years. It’s not a topic of conversation right now. We’ll discuss it at the end of the season. Our goal is to qualify for the Champions League.”

Conte dished on the matter after the tilt, seemingly keeping his options open (via Fantacalcio).

“My integration at Napoli has been perfect and above expectations. I’ve been welcomed very well. I said in the pre-season that I was receiving without having given anything and that I felt in debt for that. We have returned some of the enthusiasm. What we are doing is extraordinary and miraculous. We have to be ferocious and focused on the present, which means the next eight matches. We’ll think about the future afterward. That’s what I feel like saying today.”

Our Take on Conte

It’s always a tightrope with him, as he uses his stature as leverage, but it’s also true that they will need a ton from the transfer market, so Napoli will have to keep him happy to avoid surprises.
