Calais Campbell won't end his career with the Denver Broncos, at least not in 2025.
Campbell (6-8, 307 pounds) has signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday. He will now have a chance to finish his career where it started.
Campbell, 38, was born and raised in Denver before going on to play college football at Miami and then entering the NFL with the Cardinals in 2008 as a second-round draft pick.
He spent the first nine years of his career in Arizona before becoming a free agent in 2017. The Broncosattempted to sign him that offseason, but Campbell opted to join the Jacksonville Jaguars instead.
Campbell went on to spend three years with the Jags before stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. He remained productive even in his 17th season, totaling 52 tackles and five sacks in Miami last season.
The six-time Pro Bowler and member of the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team will now return to the Cardinals for an 18th season in the NFL.
