The Boston Bruins snapped their 10-game losing streak on April 5 against the Carolina Hurricanes in a big way. The Original Six club defeated the Hurricanes by a 5-1 final score, and Bruins superstar David Pastrnak was a huge reason behind it.
Pastrnak had a monster game for the Bruins, scoring three goals and adding two assists. With this, the 2014 first-round pick now has six goals and 10 points in his last five games. In addition, he now sits at 40 goals and 54 points in 77 games this season.
After his five-point performance against the Hurricanes, Pastrnak has now given himself more of a chance to reach 100 points for the third consecutive season. He needs to record six more points to hit the 100-point mark. When noting that the Bruins still have five games left, there is a little time for him to do it if he stays hot.
Do you think Pastrnak will hit 100 points for the third straight year? Let your thoughts be known by voting in the poll above.
