Bengals, Ja'Marr Chase agree on $161M contract extension
The Cincinnati Bengals have made Ja'Marr Chase the NFL's highest-paid wideout by agreeing to the long-awaited contract extension.
According to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz, Chase and the Bengals agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $161 million.
In the same announcement, Schultz revealed a huge contract extension for Tee Higgins, too.
Chase's contract standoff with the Bengals last summer bled into the season and nearly impacted his availability for Week 1, with both sides calling off talks during the regular season. The pricepoint dramatically jumped as a result, with the Bengals publicly committing to make Chase the highest-paid non-quarterback in a league, a number that went up over $40 million per year this month thanks to Myles Garrett in Cleveland.
