Barcelona star Pedri has revealed his take that his current form represents the very best of his career to date.
Midfielder Pedri was of course in from the off once more on Wednesday night, as Barcelona kept alive hopes of a historic treble.
Owing to a hard-fought 1-0 downing of Atlético Madrid, Hansi Flick’s troops booked their spot in the final of the Copa del Rey.
Pedri, for his part, played a typically central role, shining on both sides of the ball from his berth in the middle of the park.
As much comes amid what has been nothing short of a world-class campaign to date on the part of the Spanish international, who has even been tipped as a potential Ballon d’Or candidate.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of Pedri enjoying his football more than ever before.
Speaking to the media on the back of Wednesday’s victory at the Metropolitano, the 22-year-old was not shy in admitting:
“I’ve never enjoyed playing football this much before, to be fair. I’m in the best form of my career.”
