There wasn’t much buzz around a potential move for Alexander Isak in January, but that could change this summer. Paris Saint-Germain and several other clubs are reportedly eyeing a stronger push to sign the Newcastle United striker.
According to RMC Sport, PSG even floated a swap deal involving Gonçalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio to bring Isak to Paris.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are interested in Newcastle midfielders Sandro Tonali and Isak. Nonetheless, one Premier League club could be on the way out.
The Guardian’s Ed Aarons recently reported that Arsenal see Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres as a more realistic option than Isak. Still, all these reports could be coming from one source: Isak’s camp.

With everyday being new reports and rumors regarding Isak, one former scout states that the agent could be at work to ensure his client gets what he’s asking for from Newcastle United.
Newcastle United’s contract negotiations with Isak have hit a roadblock, with ongoing speculation linking the striker to various clubs.
Former Manchester United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Isak’s agent may be fueling the transfer rumors by leaking stories to the media.
“It’s always difficult to negotiate while there’s so much talk about a move,” Brown told Football Insider. “I’ve seen it before at clubs where players walk in and the rest of the players are joking ‘where are you going today then?’ – with all these moves being talked about. His agent has obviously been putting his name out there with a possible payday in mind.
