Atalanta could find themselves considering the sale of Isak Hien next summer, as the centre-back’s performances are attracting growing interest from several clubs eager to make a move in the upcoming transfer window.
La Dea are already aware that their star player, Ademola Lookman, is likely to depart as well, and while they would be reluctant to lose more key players, offers for the Sweden international may prove too tempting to reject.
Hien sparks transfer interest as Atalanta weighs potential sale
Atalanta paid €9 million to sign the 26-year-old from Verona in January 2024, but his market value is now believed to be more than three times their initial investment.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Europa League reigning champions are expected to demand at least €30 million to part ways with the centre-back—a high fee that may not be seen as unattainable by some European clubs tracking Hien, as Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have scouted the player multiple times.
Inter are also reportedly interested in the defender, who is among the profiles they are considering to rejuvenate their defence for next season. Other names on their list include Jaka Bijol and Oumar Solet, both of Udinese, as well as Bologna’s Sam Beukema.
