Ashton Jeanty falls to Broncos in 2025 NFL mock draft

The closer we get to the NFL draft, the less often this will happen.

As recently as late March, some mock drafts had Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty falling all the way to the Denver Broncos at pick No. 20 in the first round. With the draft now less than three weeks away, that feels like a very unrealistic scenario, but surprising drops have happened before.

Daniel Harms of The Draft Network published a mock last month that has Jeanty falling to Sean Payton's Broncos in the first round.

"Ashton Jeanty will give Payton exactly what he's looking for," Harms wrote for TDN.

After Denver's pick, North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton falls to the Washington Commanders (No. 29) in the mock.

The Las Vegas Raiders take defensive lineman Mason Graham at No. 6 and the Dallas Cowboys take linebacker Jihaad Campbell at No. 12 in Harms' projection. The Raiders and Cowboys have been popular landing spots for Jeanty in mock drafts.

Jeanty falling to the Broncos would be a dream scenario, but it feels unlikely. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Winsconsin from April 24-26 (Denver holds seven picks).
