Here we go, Ireland! Here we go!" Steelers President Art Rooney II recently shared some exciting news surrounding Pittsburgh's upcoming 2025 trip to the great country of Ireland.
In a recent appearance with the media, Rooney’s comments on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Ireland game this upcoming season were made available on the team website:
"We're excited to be going to Ireland, and we told the league that we need more tickets," Rooney claimed. "The demand, so far, has been great, and we're looking forward to it."
As previously touched on by Steelers Wire, the Irish roots within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization and the Rooney family run deep.
The team the Pittsburgh Steelers will face in the 2025 Ireland game hasn't been made public, but it has been predicted that it could be the Green Bay Packers.
If this prediction plays out—and Aaron Rodgers signs with the Steel City—it will be the first time his heir apparent, QB Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers, faces off against the four-time MVP.
