Anthony Davis eager to return before season's end
Marc Stein: Anthony Davis is practicing with the Legends today and is very eager to return from his adductor strain before season’s end, league sources tell @TheSteinLine and @DLLS_Sports . Whether he actually does return, though, remains TBD amid concern about exposing Davis to re-injury.

I cracked the NCAA Tournament code. Just schedule 13 Quad 1 games, win one of them and then make sure your AD leads the selection committee
Don’t worry he will “recuse” himself when your school is discussed. Have to maintain objectivity - 1:06 AM

Really fun ad and cool to see each of the new OKC Big 3.. but I think I speak for everyone when I say it needs more “What a pro wants, what a pro needs.”
More on this storyline
Now, my understanding is AD is ramping up and nearing his return. He's going to play four-on-four, five-on-five this week, and he could be back as soon as the last week of March. And they’re going to need him. Here’s the thing—some people have asked, ‘Why take the risk?’ But he wants to play. He wants to be out there. Derek Lively II is also ramping up. I don’t think he’s quite as close, but it’s a similar conversation. He wants to play. -via YouTube / March 17, 2025
Dirk Nowitzki: "Anthony Davis probably came back too soon and then got injured again. That meant Kyrie had to carry a huge load over the past few weeks, playing a lot of minutes, and then—he tore his ACL. It’s just a really strange situation. Lively has also been out for a long time. It just feels like this season is cursed. It’s tough, really tough. And now, honestly, I don’t know what’s next for them—either for the rest of this season or even next year. But this is just the new reality for Mavs fans. It’ll take a while to get over it, but we’ll see how things develop." -via YouTube / March 17, 2025
Brad Townsend: Kidd says Davis “continues to trend in the right direction,” but still no timetable. -via Twitter @townbrad / March 14, 2025
