Grand Meadow grad Hailey Hindt took second place for Division I Saint Thomas University in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.21 at the Texas Relays on March 29. The time was Hindt's personal best and it ranks as the second best in program history.
During her indoor season, Hindt, a senior at Saint Thomas, was part of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that took fifth place in the Summit League. Throughout the year, she ran the 200-meter dash in 25.99 seconds, the 400-meter dash in 58.56 seconds and she ran the 300-meter dash in 42.1 seconds.
Hindt's 4 x 400-meter relay team set an indoor record with a time of 3:46.52 in February of 2025 and they set an outdoor record with a time of 3:44.77 in March of 2024.
Blooming Prairie grad Annaka Forsberg took 35th place with a height of 1.55 meters for Division I Coastal Carolina at the Raleigh Relays recently.
BASEBALL
Lyle grad Isaac Nelsen has appeared in three games for Division III St. John's University this season.
Nelsen has pitched two and one-thirds innings this season with two hits and one one walk, while striking out two. Nelsen has not allowed a run.
