If you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between two goats, specifically two goats exchanging words after one broke the long-standing record of the other, you're in luck.
After Alex Ovechkin scored his 895th career goal to pass Wayne Gretzky as the NHL's all-time leader, the game between the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders came to a halt for a ceremony to honor the moment. And the league smartly mic'd up Ovechkin in anticipation of the moment, so we could all hear the commentary of him and others before, during and after the goal.
One of those exchanges was with Gretzky (who also delivered a perfect speech after the goal). Man-to-man, he urged Ovechkin to keep going.

"Keep going. Get to 900. If you get to 900, I might buy you a car," Gretzky said, passing the torch to Ovi the same way Gordie Howe did for him.
How cool is that?
