Today, it's time to examine the 2016 Masters and the significant milestones that occurred at Augusta National Golf Club that year.
Who won the 2016 Masters?
Danny Willett was the first Englishman since Nick Faldo 20 years earlier to don the green jacket, taking advantage of Jordan Spieth faltering down the stretch on Sunday. Spieth led for 65 holes, two more than he did the year prior when he led wire-to-wire and won. Willett shot 67 on Sunday to win by three shots. Willett was five back with six to play.
