CLEMSON — Clemson football added its 14th player in the 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of three-star defensive lineman Kameron Cody on Saturday.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pounder from Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia, is rated the No. 53 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite rankings. Cody chose Clemson over LSU, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Arizona State.
Cody is the first defensive lineman to commit to Clemson's 2026 class. In his junior season, he recorded 89 tackles, including 11 for loss, and 8.5 sacks in 12 games, according to Max Preps.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney's 2026 class is ranked No. 2 nationally. It has eight four-star recruits, five three-stars and one player who isn't rated.
Cody is the first recruit from Georgia in the 2026 class to commit to the Tigers. He is also the fourth defensive player to verbally commit to Clemson, joining four-star safety Kaden Gebhardt and cornerbacks Marcell Gipson (three star) and Shavar Young Jr. (four star).
