2025 PFL World Tournament 1 weigh-in results: Welterweight out after missing mark

The 2025 PFL welterweight tournament experienced a shakeup before it even began after Magomed Umalatov missed weight Wednesday, forcing him to be removed from the competition.

Umalatov weighed in at 173.6 pounds during 2025 PFL World Tournament 1 weigh-ins in Orlando, Fla., more than 2 pounds heavier than the 171 limit. In Umalatov's place steps in alternate Joseph Luciano, who will take on Logan Storley in a welterweight quarterfinal matchup.

Thursday's fight card, which takes place at Universal Studios Orlando (ESPN+, ESPN2), features the quarterfinals of both the welterweight and featherweight eight-man tournaments. The featherweight field did not experience any weight misses.

MAIN CARD (10 p.m. ET, ESPN+, ESPN2)

  • Jason Jackson (170.8) vs. Andrey Koreshkov (171) – welterweight quarterfinal
  • Jesus Pinedo (145.6) vs. Ádám Borics (145.4) – featherweight quarterfinal
  • Joseph Luciano (170.4) vs. Logan Storley – welterweight quarterfinal
  • Jeremy Kennedy (145.8) vs. Movlid Khaybulaev (145.4) – featherweight quarterfinal

PRELIMINARY CARD (8 p.m. ET, ESPN+)

  • Mukhamed Berkhamov (171) vs. Thad Jean (170.8) – welterweight quarterfinal
  • Gabriel Braga (144.4) vs. Frederik Dupras (145.6) – featherweight quarterfinal
  • Giannis Bachar (170.6) vs. Masayuki Kikuiri (169.4) – welterweight quarterfinal
