Fulham scored three goals in 15 first-half minutes to hand Liverpool a 3-2 defeat and the Cottagers ended the Reds' 26-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Southampton were relegated from the top-flight with seven games left to play after falling to a disappointing 3-1 loss at Tottenham.
Elsewhere, Brentford and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw with few chances at the Gtech, a result which put the Blues' current top-four spot in danger with chasing Man City in action later.
However, City couldn't capitalise and jump into the Champions League qualification places, as they played out a lackluster 0-0 stalemate with city neighbours Man United.

The Saints do still have something to play for, however.
Ivan Jurić's side must pick up two more points to avoid Derby's record-low total (10) from the 2007/08 Premier League season.
What this means 🤔
Liverpool's rare defeat means Arsenal have gained one point back in the title race, as the Gunners now sit 11 points behind the Reds.
The race for fourth remains as even as it was before this round of fixtures, with Chelsea still holding a one-point lead over Man City in the final Champions League spot.
Fulham were arguably the biggest victors on Sunday as the West London outfit sit only four points behind fifth-placed Man City.
