Watch live: Trump speaks at the Department of Justice

President Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks to the Department of Justice on Friday afternoon.
Trump told reporters on Thursday the speech would include his ideas for the department and “the complete gamut” of policy proposals.
The president has long railed against the Justice Department for investigations into his own conduct during his first term as president, including his efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss to former President Biden.
Trump initially tapped former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) for attorney general, before pulling the nomination and selecting former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was confirmed to the role.
The president is expected to speak at 3 p.m. EDT.
