Watch live: House votes on stopgap funding bill
The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a partisan spending plan that is seemingly doomed to fail.
Republicans who forced Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to scrap a vote last week due to their intense opposition have said they have still not changed their positions on the bill.
Lawmakers are scrambling to pass a funding package before an end-of-the-month deadline for a government shutdown.
The vote is scheduled to take place at 5:40 p.m. ET.
