Watch live: Biden addresses nation after Democrats' election losses
President Biden, with just over 10 weeks left in office, will address the nation Thursday, following significant losses in the election for Democrats across the nation.
His remarks from the White House Rose Garden come after The Hill/Decision Desk HQ called the White House race for the former president over Vice President Harris early on Wednesday. Republicans were also able to flip the Senate in the election.
Harris conceded to Trump on Wednesday afternoon, calling to congratulate her GOP rival on his decisive victory. The vice president and Biden have both encouraged a peaceful transfer of power.
Biden is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. EST.
