Watch: Jeffries holds press conference as Congress grapples with war plans chat news

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) is holding a press conference as lawmakers contend with reporting that Trump administration officials discussed sensitive attack plans against the Houthis in Yemen in a Signal group chat to which a reporter had been added.
The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg reported Monday that national security adviser Mike Waltz had apparently invited him to the group chat in which top-level officials debated and discussed the attack and that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had shared sensitive details of the plans.
While Jeffries press conference was planned to discuss Medicaid, the Atlantic reporting is sure to come up.
