VIDEO: Trump tosses chicken tenders into crowd at Alabama vs. Georgia football game
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WFLA) – Former President Donald Trump surprised college football fans on Saturday in Alabama with an unusual gift.
Trump was seen tossing several boxes of chicken tenders to excited fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium at the Alabama vs. Georgia game.
A video posted by Margo Martin, the deputy director of communications for his campaign, shows the former president waving to the crowd before throwing the chicken to random attendees.
"USA!, USA!, USA!" the crowd was heard cheering.
According to the Associated Press, Trump attended the game as the guest of Alabama businessman Ric Mayers Jr., a member of Mar-a-Lago.
Mayers said he invited Trump so that he could enjoy a warm welcome, AP reported. Trump attended a few college games when he was president, including an Alabama-Georgia national championship game.
No. 4 Alabama's Crimson Tide won 41-34 against No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs.
