Stephen A. Smith to Democrats: Find deals Trump is willing to make

Media personality Stephen A. Smith is urging Democrats to find deals they can make with President Trump, criticizing their protests.
“What we’ve been seeing from them, it doesn’t resonate," Smith said Wednesday on Fox News's “Hannity."
"It’s not working any longer. We’re not falling for the okey-doke and not buying what they’re selling,” he said of Democrats’ various protests at Trump’s joint address to Congress.
Smith called on Democrats to “stand up, step up” because their constituents sent them to Washington to work with any administration, no matter the political affiliation.
“I know they don’t like the fact that Donald Trump is in office, but the 47th President of the United States of America, his name is Donald Trump, and as you have told me on many occasions, if nothing else, the man is all about making deals,” he said, pointing to Trump's past as a businessman.
“Find deals that he’s willing to make and make it happen,” Smith continued. “Figure it out.”
Smith slammed Democrats, noting he doesn’t consider himself one, and questioned who came up with the forms of protest at Trump’s address. Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was escorted out of the chamber after heckling Trump.
Smith, a highly-paid ESPN personality, has been increasingly talking politics and hasn't entirely ruled out entering the 2028 presidential race after Democrats' brutal loss last November.
