NEW ORLEANS (NEXSTAR) – The players on the field Sunday at Super Bowl LIX are celebrities in their own right, but they're far from the only big names gathered in New Orleans for the Chiefs-Eagles matchup.
The highest profile guest appearance came in the form of President Donald Trump, who made history as the first president to attend the Super Bowl while in office.
Those who tuned into the broadcast before kickoff saw a pair of A-list actors welcoming in their favorite teams. Missouri native Jon Hamm announced the arrival of the Kansas City Chiefs onto the field at the Caesars Superdome. Bradley Cooper, who hails from a Philadelphia suburb, welcomed the Eagles onto the turf.
The pre-game and halftime entertainment is packed with celebrities, too. Jon Batiste sang the National Anthem while Kendrick Lamar and SZA headlined the halftime show.
Here's a look at the celebrities spotted at Super Bowl LIX.
Donald Trump

President Trump arrived at the Caesars Superdome an hour before kickoff to meet with first responders and family members of victims in the New Year's attack in New Orleans. He was joined in his suite by his daughter Ivanka Trump and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, among others.
His red tie may be a clue to who he's supporting. Though he said he's a fan of both teams, Trump predicted the Chiefs would pull out another Super Bowl win.
Bradley Cooper

Pretty easy to guess who actor Bradley Cooper was rooting for on Sunday. He welcomed his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles, onto the field before kickoff.
Jon Hamm did the same for his team, the Chiefs.

Obviously Taylor Swift was in the building to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce. The pop megastar brought some friends: rapper Ice Spice and stylist Ashley Avignone. Singers Este Haim and Alana Haim, both of the group HAIM, were also in the same suite.
Lionel Messi

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi enjoyed a view of the game from an Adidas suite. Messi and Patrick Mahomes both have deals with the athletic wear brand.
Miles Teller and Pete Davidson

Diehard Eagles fans Miles Teller and Pete Davidson were on the sidelines before the game. You may recognize Teller from "Divergent" or "Top Gun: Maverick." Comedian Davidson was a cast member of "Saturday Night Live" for eight seasons.
Jay-Z, Blue and Rumi

Jay-Z and his daughters, Blue Ivy Carter and Rumi Carter, were also on the sidelines. While fans of Beyonce were hoping she'd make an appearance – or perhaps guest star in Kendrick Lamar's halftime show – she wasn't spotted on the field with her family (nor during the halftime performance).
Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd was at the Superdome to cheer on his team, the Chiefs. The Kansas City native was spotted shaking hands and taking pictures with fans before the game started.
Bert Kreischer

Another comedian in attendance was Bert Kreischer. He posted to social media from his seat in a suite, next to quarterback Jameis Winston and rapper/reality show star Flavor Flav.
Kevin Costner
![](https://www.nxsttv.com/nmw/wp-content/uploads/sites/107/2025/02/AP25040808999774.jpg?strip=1)
"Yellowstone" actor Kevin Costner walked on the field ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Unlike most of the other celebrities in attendance, his outfit didn't give away his team allegiance.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA
![](https://www.nxsttv.com/nmw/wp-content/uploads/sites/107/2025/02/GettyImages-2198058916.jpg?strip=1)
The stars of the Super Bowl halftime show, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, brought down the house with a medley of their biggest hits. Lamar's jacket also caught people's attention – the patches on the sleeves and back have hidden meaning.
Serena Williams

That's not just any backup dancer – that's tennis great Serena Williams. She surprised viewers as one of the guests appearing during the halftime show.
Samuel L. Jackson

Another surprise guest was award-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson. He didn't sing during the halftime show, but he did play a part as "Uncle Sam."
Tom Brady

Tom Brady wasn't just at the game as a football legend or fan of the sport. He called the game in the FOX broadcast.
Jon Batiste
![](https://www.nxsttv.com/nmw/wp-content/uploads/sites/107/2025/02/AP25040855263266.jpg?strip=1)
Grammy and Oscar winner Jon Batiste performed the Star-Spangled Banner. The singer and composer has a long resume. You may recognize him from classical compositions, artist collaborations, TV or the big screen.
Harry Connick Jr.
![](https://www.nxsttv.com/nmw/wp-content/uploads/sites/107/2025/02/AP25040838803131.jpg?strip=1)
Pianist and singer Harry Connick Jr. was also part of the pregame entertainment. The Louisiana native performed "Go to the Mardi Gras."
