Nelly to perform at Trump inaugural ball
President-elect Trump’s inaugural committee announced that hip hop superstar Nelly would perform on Monday at the Liberty Ball set to take place after the 60th presidential inauguration ceremony.
“This marks a pivotal moment in our country where people from all backgrounds are joining together to commemorate President Trump's victory and the start of a new golden era for America,” the committee, staffed by former Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and Steve Witkoff, shared in a Saturday statement.
Nelly has earned three Grammys over the course of his career and nine Billboard music awards.
Other confirmed performers for the inauguration week include Carrie Underwood, The Village People band, Rascal Flatts, Parker McCollum, and Christopher Macchio.
