Melania Trump sets date for White House Easter Egg Roll

Melania Trump is getting ready to roll out the first White House Easter Egg Roll of President Trump's second term.
The springtime tradition will take place on April 21, the White House announced Thursday.
An online lottery for free tickets to the event on the South Lawn — available for families with children 13 years old and younger — will open on March 4 before ending on March 10.
The first lady hosted the Easter Egg Roll at the White House throughout Trump's first term in office. The festivities were nixed in 2020, and the following year under President Biden, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The egg-rolling extravaganza dates back to 1878 during Rutherford B. Hayes's presidency.
In a statement, the White House said that the Trumps "look forward to continuing this entertaining tradition and making it a truly memorable experience for all."
