Lobbying World: YouTube taps new federal affairs manager
Andrew Meyer has joined YouTube as manager of federal affairs. He was most recently legislative director for Rep. Greg Pence (R-Ind.).
Will Lemke is joining Monument Advocacy as vice president of public affairs in the firm’s Seattle office. He most recently managed corporate and industry communications at Zillow Group and was previously director of communications and legislative affairs for the City of Seattle’s social services agency. He also previously worked for Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Wash.) and former Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.).
The law firm Clark Hill announced it is adding Nicole Rodgers as senior director of Clark Hill Public Strategy. She was previously president of the Alliance for Mineral Security and was managing director at Capitol Hill Communications.
Nick Pennington has joined the Association of American Universities as senior coordinator for government relations and public policy. He was previously legislative director for former Rep. James Langevin (D-R.I.).
The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) elected L3Harris Technologies CEO Chris Kubasik as chair of the Board of Governors. AIA also promoted Marta Hernandez to vice president of communications.
Venn Strategies has promoted Jakara Eason to vice president within the firm’s health care team, Justin Livesey to vice president within the firm’s tax and financial services practice, Niaz Siasi to vice president and Mwai Sande to associate.
