Lobbying World: Hur heads back to King & Spalding
Robert Hur and Leah Grossi have returned to King & Spalding as partners in the firm’s special matters and government investigations practice.
Hur, best known as the special counsel investigating President Biden’s classified documents case, previously was U.S. attorney for the district of Maryland and principal associate deputy U.S. attorney general.
Grossi most recently was senior counsel in the Justice Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs and served as associate counsel in the White House Counsel’s Office in the Biden administration.
The National Park Foundation announced Jeff Reinbold will be its next president and CEO. Reinbold most recently was superintendent of the National Mall and Memorial Parks for the National Park Service.
Robyn Jackson has joined Ford Motor Company as government affairs communications manager in the company’s Washington office. Jackson spent the past five years with Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), most recently as the senator’s communications director, and she previously was communications director for Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.).
Preston Feinberg has joined the government affairs team for defense at Palantir Technologies. Feinberg was most recently the operations lead for the Air Force and F-35 government affairs teams at Lockheed Martin.
Cornerstone Government Affairs is adding Adam Yezerski to the firm’s federal government relations team. Yezerski was a professional staff member on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs.
Arun Rao is joining Mayer Brown as a partner in the firm’s global investigations and white collar defense practice. Rao was most recently a deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s Civil Division, where he oversaw the Consumer Protection Branch. He also served in the White House Counsel’s Office and as chief of the Southern Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
Jill Dvorak has returned to the National Retail Federation as senior vice president of content. She was the association's vice president of content and retail strategy from 2017 to 2022 and was the chief content officer at CommerceNext before her return to the retail organization.
Josh Daniels has joined the American Council of Life Insurers as vice president of campaigns and partnerships.
The Aerospace Industries Association, the leading American aerospace and defense industry trade group, has promoted Steve Jordan Tomaszewski from senior director of national security space to vice president of space systems.
