Klitschko criticizes Rogan for repeating pro-Russian propoganda

Ukrainian former professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko took a jab at podcaster Joe Rogan for his criticism of Ukraine using long-range missiles to attack Russia just days after the U.S. presidential election earlier this month.

Rogan, during a recent episode of his popular podcast, called Ukraine's use of long-range missiles inside of Russia for the first time since a restriction was lifted by Washington, "f----- insane."

"How are you allowed to do that when you're on the way out?" Rogan said of Biden. "This should be like some kind of pause on like, significant actions that could potentially start World War Three."

Klitschko, in a video message to Rogan posted on social media on Sunday, said the podcaster was "repeating Russian propaganda."

"Putin's Russia is in trouble, so they want to scare you and people like you," the boxer said. "So you're using the only weapon that Putin really intends to use: propaganda. And this weapon really weakens our democracy."

Rogan's influence in politics has grown this year.

He endorsed President-elect Trump and hosted the Republican nominee for a wide ranging interview just days before the election. He has also hosted conversations with other controversial figures and leading pundits on the right.

Klitschko said he would welcome an opportunity to join Rogan on his popular podcast.

"You see I have quite a few points of difference" with Rogan, he said. "If you invite me on your podcast, we can discuss them like free men."
