Harris, Trump target battleground state voters with Wednesday events
Vice President Harris and former President Trump will both campaign in swing states on Wednesday, hoping to sway undecided voters in the final days before the general election.
Harris plans to host an afternoon rally in Harrisburg, Pa. at the Giant Expo Hall, according to a release from the campaign team. The vice president will address the crowd of Keystone state voters a day after hosting a campaign event with over 75,000 attendees at the Ellipse.
Trump’s first stop will be a rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where he is expected to discuss the impact of inflation on everyday Americans, according to his campaign’s announcement. Trump has a 1.6 percent lead in the battleground state, according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s internal polling average.
After the rally, the former president will travel to Green Bay, Wisc., to host a rally with former quarterback Brett Favre.
Vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) will hold a town hall in Bedford, Pa. where the Republican nominee maintains a marginal lead.
