Hannity, Stephen A. Smith lock horns over Trump-Harris race
Fox News host Sean Hannity and sports media pundit Stephen A. Smith argued Thursday evening about the presidential race between former President Trump and Vice President Harris.
After Hannity asked Smith about Harris's knowledge of President Biden's mental state, Smith rebuffed the idea that Harris should have spoken out about Biden's mental acuity.
"I know you're not talking about someone being lucid and cogent and ... you're bragging about Donald Trump," Smith said. "We can't be watching the same stuff."
"Oh I am," Hannity shot back.
"[Republican South Carolina] Sen. Lindsey Graham came on this show — that man can articulate himself, not Donald Trump," Smith insisted as Hannity attempted to interject.
"I have sat with him [Trump] for hour after hour, topic after topic, and he is so dialed in," Hannity said.
"And he's canceling press conferences," Smith pressed Hannity.
Hannity told Smith, "Your friends in the Democratic Party ignored the obvious deep cognitive decline" of Biden.
"What is she supposed to say, Sean?" Smith said. "You don't dime out your boss."
Hannity concluded his interview with Smith by predicting the former ESPN personality would "privately be voting for Trump."
"Never," Smith responded incredulously. "And I told you, I'm on the record: I would've voted for any Republican but him. ... Not him."
