Crockett calls Trump 'Putin’s ho'

Rep. Jasmine Crockett had choice words for President Trump following his joint address to Congress on Tuesday night.
When attorney Joe Gallina asked Crockett what she would say to Trump if she had the opportunity, the Texas Democrat responded, “I would tell him to grow a spine and stop being Putin's ho.”
Referring to the Russian president, she continued, “That's all we got right now, is Putin's little ho that is out here really doing the bidding of Russia in a way we've never seen an American president do.”
Crockett referred to Trump’s Friday meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House as she accused him of deserting allies.
“For those that believe that we should only focus on the United States, this is a focus on the United States. We need a president that understands what diplomacy looks like, and it doesn't look like the disgrace that we saw that took place in the Oval Office.”
The president has in recent weeks ramped up criticism of his Ukrainian counterpart while also appearing increasingly friendly toward Moscow and Vladimir Putin. This week, the White House put a pause on military aid to Ukraine, followed by intelligence sharing.
Trump’s meeting with Zelenskyy devolved into a shouting match among the two and Vice President Vance. While Trump allies accused Zelensky of disrespecting America, Democrats blasted Trump and Vance for betraying an ally.
Crockett echoed the sentiment on Tuesday, expanding to include Mexico and Canada in her remarks as she told Gallina that diplomacy “doesn't look like s---ting on our allies by telling them we're going to impose tariffs to the north and the south of us.”
Crcokett warned that, because so much lumber and steel come from Canada, Americans will see housing costs “go through the roof,” as well as the price of fruits and vegetables from Mexico, from the tariffs that Trump is enacting.
But she added that she “can’t blame” either country for the reciprocal tariffs they are planning. Instead, Crockett said, Trump needs to find a way to work with the allies if he plans to lower costs for Americans as he promised on the campaign trail.
“As people are still complaining about their eggs, now they're going to have to worry about the rest of their groceries,” she said. “Listen, it is time for him to grow a pair and start to do the work of an American president and stop pretending that he is on some terrible reality TV show that is looking for ratings. I am hoping that America turns off the TV today, and tunes into people like you, because all he does is look for ratings and we shouldn't give them the attention.”
The Texas lawmaker has risen in popularity and profile in recent years, in part because of her candid nature, including at congressional hearings.
Her Tuesday interview with Gallina followed an exchange over Elon Musk last week, when Gallina asked her what she would say to the billionaire if given the chance.
‘F--- off,” Crockett responded at the time.
