Bill O'Reilly: Joe Biden going out same way as Aaron Rodgers
Former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly believes departing President Biden is "going out the same way" as New York Jets’ starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"It's opinion," O'Reilly said Wednesday on NewsNation's "CUOMO."
"Rodgers comes in with all of the money, with the hope that he's going to drive the team into the playoffs, and he goes out whimpering," he continued. "Because he fell, and it's the same thing with President Biden."
Sports commentator Stephen A. Smith fired back, stating O'Reilly's analogy is "really good' but Rodgers is "probably gonna come back and play."
President Biden used his farewell address to the nation Wednesday to warn of an “oligarchy” of the ultra-wealthy taking root in the country and of a “tech-industrial complex” that is infringing on Americans’ rights and the future of democracy.
"Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that really threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedom and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead," Biden said in his final Oval Office speech.
The president also highlighted his concern for misinformation spread, stating that "the free press is crumbling" and that social media platforms need to be held accountable.
