Andrew Tate: Florida investigation 'absolute communism'

Influencer Andrew Tate slammed the Florida attorney general’s decision to launch an investigation into him and his brother, Tristan, calling the move “absolute communism.”
“Absolute communism. I’ve been in America for 5 days. I sat on my laptop and did a podcast. Insanity," the older Tate brother wrote Tuesday in a post on the social platform X. "I am super disappointed in the United States."
“This isn’t the America I know. This is a sad sad day for America," he added. "Trying to find crimes on an innocent man. I’m not afraid. I’m genuinely just disappointed."
His statement comes after his arrival in the Sunshine State surprised authorities who said they were not warned about the Tates' decision to reenter the U.S. as they face criminal allegations of human trafficking and sexual assault in Romania.
The Tate brothers hold U.S.-U.K. dual citizenship and were under travel restrictions until late last month.
Although the two have denied any involvement in illegal activities, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has made it clear in response to their arrival that criminal behavior will not be tolerated.
“Florida is not a place where, where you’re welcome with that, with that type of conduct in the air. And I don’t know how it came to this; we were not involved, we were not notified,” DeSantis told reporters last week while lauding state Attorney General James Uthmeier (R) for taking initial steps toward a probe into the brothers' unexpected visit.
However, Andrew Tate criticized DeSantis’s leadership and pointed to the FBI's 2022 seizure of classified documents and property from President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in West Palm Beach as a sign of his disloyalty.
“DeSantis allowed Feds to raid our president's home. Never forget Mar A Lago,” Tate wrote on X.
The Tate brothers have amassed a large following on social media where they have continued to provide comments on their ongoing international legal battles.
